Blakemere started off the day with a lovely Easter Service at St Peter's Church.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the annual Easter service at St Peter's church. As part of the service led by Reverend Elaine, the children were: singing, acting out the Eater story and listening to readings by a variety of children in Year 6.

After that, the children took part in an Easter Egg Hunt! It was great seeing them having such a lovely time trying to find as many eggs as they could.

To finish off the great day, we took the the egg rolling competition! The children all had their own designs and techniques that they had hoped would land their egg in one of the buckets! Well done to all of the children who were lucky enough to win a Creme Egg! Also as part of the day, the children designed 'Commonwealth Games' themed egg scenes. It was brilliant to see all of the different designs and the hard work they had put in really paid off!

I hope you all have a great Easter break!
