Blakemere had a brilliant time dressing up as pirates in order to raise money for the Royal National International Lifeboat charity!

Thank you so much for your support in getting the children ready for this day, they all looked absolutely brilliant! This was the charity fundraising day for the Owl house within school.

On Thursday the children in Blakemere led a beautiful collective worship service at St Peters Church. Rev Elaine said 'They brilliantly acted out Peter on his fishing boat, there was a lovely poem and thoughtful prayers too. This was so nice to see." I couldn't have been prouder of the children, speaking so clearly, remembering their lines and for the way they presented to the parents. Thank you to all of the parents and carers who came along, it was lovely to see you all and the children certainly appreciated it. One child even said they wanted to do it again as soon as we got back to school!

Well done to our Judo stars in Blakemere this week! Mr Freeman said he was so proud of their effort and their behaviour was outstanding whilst they were at St Martin's. Well done to all of the children who took part and a special congratulations to those who won the Judoka of the day!

In school this week it has been assessment week. The children have been working so hard all week, they have concentrated throughout and given their all. You're all superstars!

Have a lovely weekend!
