Blakemere learned about Buddhism this week.

Earlier this week Blakemere visited Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre in Northwich to learn about Buddhism. The children enthusiastically asked questions about the religion, its beliefs and practices. It was lovely to hear that the children were focused and interested in learning more about the religion.

In class we have been looking at adverbs, identifying them in a sentence and using them in our own sentences too. Times tables have continued to be a focus in numeracy with the children using the inverse to solve missing number problems involving multiplication and division.

Next week we are focusing on rehearsals for our Christmas performance, please remember to practice the songs at home using your beautiful singing voices.

I would like to add how lovely it is to be teaching the class again and am looking forward to the rest of the year in Blakemere. Thank you to Mrs Birks for her wonderful work so far.
