Blakemere loved World Maths Day!

Blakemere had a brilliant time on Thursday celebrating World Maths Day! The children loved learning how to measure the height of trees. To do this they used a stick the same length of their arms, held it out and lined it up through eye sight with the top of the tree. They then counted the steps. They also took part in a range of other maths problems on the day!

Also this week, the children took part in a wonderful Harvest service at St Peter’s Church with Rev Angela. They sang so beautifully and listened so well to the Parable Rev Angela performed

They have also been working really hard on their Iron Man themed stories! We have been breaking the stories down into chunks and have been focusing on our use of adjectives.

Have a lovely weekend!
