Blakemere loved learning about fossils this week!

Blakemere have had such a wonderful week taking part in a range of activities and workshops that were provided. The children loved seeing storyteller Richard O’Neil share a funny story about children who make spoons in class and we enjoyed solving his riddles at the end of the session. In our other workshops for the week, we were learning how to draw cylinders with Chris Gilbert and working up a sweat in a fitness class with Samantha Dene. These were massively enjoyed by the children.

In science this week the children were learning about fossils, they had such a great time making their own fossils at home.

Also, this week the children have made Kenning’s poems, these were based on water and a variety of animals.

In Maths the children have worked extremely hard to try and understand equivalent fractions, using a fraction wall and multiplication to solve the set problems.

Have a lovely weekend all and thank you for all of your support.
