Blakemere had brilliant fun in science this week learning all about forces.

The children were looking at friction this week and their investigation involved a bottle of rice and a wooden spoon! The more they moved the spoon, the more friction it created and the children were able to lift the bottles up into the air!

Also this week, the children in Blakemere have been writing short stories full of action and all using Lego which the children really enjoyed! It was really lovely to hear and see what the children wanted to do in the future and what their aspirations are. I really liked the hand designs they created to show this. The children have also worked really hard to solve column multiplication and short division calculations this week.

The Blakemere team are really proud of the class and the way they have worked from home this week.

Have a lovely weekend.
