Blakemere really enjoyed dissecting flowers to see what they look like on the inside!

Blakemere have had a great time learning outside of the classroom this week, taking full advantage of the warm weather we have had. They started off with creating number sequences and problems whilst learning their 4 and 8 times tables; the children used sticks, leaves and acorns in order to do this. Whilst in science the class have been investigating the flowers in our class garden, the children were able to dissect them and learn about the different parts of the plants. In literacy Blakemere have loved learning all about whales, undertaking research and presenting their findings to the class! It was also lovely to see them acting out a piece of Elephant themed poetry this week too.

Have a lovely weekend!
