Yesterday we all dressed up as Pirates for the Owl House charity day, we were raising money for the RNLI an important charity to help save lives at sea.

As we were dressed as pirates it was only right that our during our phonics lesson we played buried treasure! We worked in our house teams to find words in the outdoor area and then read them and decide if they were real or nonsense and place them in the correct hoop. It was fantastic how well the children communicated and worked together.

This week we created garden decorations for our outdoor area. We painted pebbles to look like different mini beasts and then varnished them so they last in the garden.

In our numeracy lessons we've begun to learn how to count in multiples. We've started counting in 10s using cubes and a 100 number sqaure.

As we're now in the final half term of the summer term there is a new home learning grid on the Hatchmere homework page, please take a look and complete one activity a week with your child.

Have a lovely weekend, let hope the nice weather continues!
