A big thank you to all the family members who came for the stay and play session on Tuesday this week. It was lovely to have you all spend some time in the classroom with us, we hope you enjoyed it too! It was a lovely way to end Hatchmere's first term in school.

This week has had a very christmassy feel with lots of lessons linking to Christmas, it's best to make the most of it! On Wednesday we had a mini christmas party for the children. We played musical chairs, pass the parcel and pin the nose on Rudolph. The children really enjoyed the party and we all had lots of laughs watching each other try and pin the nose on Rudolph!

In the children's bags today we have provided them with a set of flash cards, on the Hatchmere Homework page of this website is information on how you can use the flash cards at home. We have also provided some optional Christmas homework task to be completed over the two weeks break. These are optional and are designed to hopefully fit into family life quite easily, if you do complete any of the task please photograph them and send the pictures to This email address is being protected from spambots. A big big thank you for the generous presents and lots of cards that myself, Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Lathaen have received today. It is very kind of you all and really appreciated by the staff.

We hope you have a very merry christmas with your families and enjoy lots of time together. We'll see you in 2019 for Hatchmere's second term in school!
