This week Hatchmere held a collective worship for the rest of the school.

The collective worship took place on Wednesday and was based on the creation story. Each child in Hatchmere created a piece of art work on a paper plate relating to a part of the story. They then stood up in front of the rest of the school and told the story, it was amazing to see how confident each child was! It's a big accomplishment to stand up in front of the rest of the school, the Hatchmere staff were so proud of them! We then finished the collective worship by singing the 'he's got the whole world in his hand'.

The accomplishments continued this week, as on Thursday afternoon some of the class took part in their first sporting event for the school; a reception football tournament at Tarporley High School. Miss Hume and Mr Freeman were so impressed with how each child took part in a game and used their football skills they've learnt during PE lessons.

Next Friday we have our school trip to Bunbury Mill, before the trip we'll be learning about the importance of the mill and the role it played in our local area.

We hope you have a lovely weekend,

Miss Hume, Mrs LLoyd, Mrs Lathaen and Mrs Dodd
