What an impressive piece of work!

This week Hatchmere have been busy learning from home.  We started the week revisiting Phase 3 sounds /ch/th/sh/ and took part in lots of activities to help identify these sounds.  In maths we looked at recording numbers.  We are so impressed with Hatchmere's neat numbers, well done everyone!  The children were set a challenge to see how many rolled up socks they could throw into a basket and then record their number.  The children all did much better at scoring higher points than Mrs Birks!

One of the afternoon lessons was to create a piece of art based on the Eastgate clock in Chester.  They were all fantastic pieces of art, here are a couple of examples to show you.  We will be printing them all and adding them to our Topic display board in the Hatchmere classroom.

On google classroom there are lots of useful websites to support home learning.  Well done Hatchmere families, you have all be amazing this week.  Have a lovely rest this weekend, we hope there is enough snow for you to enjoy!  Mrs Young our student teacher will be joining us from next week, we look forward to having her with us again.

Mrs Birks, Mrs Inskip, Mrs Lathaen and Mr Hunt.
