We've had another incredibly busy week learning from home in Hatchmere!

It's been another fantastic week in Hatchmere!

In our phonics work, the children worked really hard with trigraphs, using their sound buttons and identifying these sounds in texts.  Hatchmere also drew fantastic pictures to support their wonderful sentences too! Great work Hatchmere!

We have been so impressed with Hatchmere's addition and subtraction skills this week, it was lovely to see so many examples of counting resources you can use at home to complete addition and subtraction sums up to 20!

On Thursday the children thoroughly enjoyed learning about postcards with Mrs Young.  The children really enjoyed writing postcards to their loved ones, the sentences and pictures were all fantastic! The team in Hatchmere are very proud, well done Hatchmere! We think it's lovely that so many children are posting their post cards to their loved ones when they can't see them during these times!

Hatchmere thoroughly enjoyed our Street Dance and Fitness class with Samantha Dene on Wednesday, as well as a Stretch and Relaxation session led by Mrs Young on Friday! It's great to see the children getting active at home and joining in with these sessions, as well as Mr Freeman's PE.

This week was also Safer Internet Day, where the children were learning tips on how to stay safe online while learning from home.

We will be posting some optional half term homework to Google Classroom today based around Shrove Tuesday.

Have a lovely weekend, and a lovely half term!
