Last half term was incredibly busy, as always here at Delamere.  Here are just a few pictures from Children's Mental Health Week 2019.  I can't believe we've already been back in school for nearly a week. Read on to find out what we've been up to this week.

During Mental Health week, we had a circus skills workshop.  The children loved this, as you can tell by the smiles on their faces.

The children also partook in a Zumba class.  I was impressed at how good they were at some of the quite tricky moves.  They loved it and the concentration and smiles on their faces made it very worthwhile.

This week, we have been learning all about electricity.  The children used balloons to learn about positive and negative charge (or electrons and protons).

We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine, so to make the most of it, we took our science learning outside.  We used string to help us understand what electrical flow is and that as electricity passes around a circuit in a constant flow.

It's been another great week.  The children have worked hard and the sun has shone.

Have a lovely weekend.
