This week has been all about the arts

On Monday, we spent an interesting day at the Liverpool Tate, where we read about, listened to and sketched our favourite art installations.  We saw pieces by Kandinsky, Damien Hirst and even Andy Warhol.  The children's behaviour was exceptional as always.

Throughout this week, we have been applying our maths and literacy skills through practising SATs questions in Maths Reasoning, Grammar and Reading comprehension.  The children have worked hard and know the importance of taking an active role in their learning.

On Friday afternoon, we were visited by a travelling orchestra who sung and taught us a message about pollution and its effects on our planet.  This was a truly amazing and magical experience and the children's faces were a delight as they listened attentively to the story.
