The children have had a well deserved rest from SATs revision this afternoon to learn about the history of smuggling in Cornwall!

This week has been a final push towards the finishing line towards SATs.  They have been refining techniques for answering 3 mark questions on the reading paper; learning how to identify the present perfect tense and completing vast amounts of maths reasoning questions.

Next week is SAT's week.  I will be doing a SAT's breakfast club on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:25am.  There will be toast and juice available.

I know many of you are interested to know which SAT's are on the different days of the week, so below is our timetable.

Monday - SPaG and Spelling

Tuesday - Reading

Wednesday - Maths - Paper 1 arithmetic

                   Maths - Paper 2 Reasoning

Thursday - Maths - Paper 3 Reasoning.

Please ensure that the children have a restful weekend and plenty of time away from studying - lots of fresh air and healthy food.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Carter
