The children across the school enjoyed learning about world animal day and animals in their local environment. in Nunsmere we created paintings of Delamere forest and thought about which animals they mights find in woodlands and then we sketched our favourites.(These also linked to our houses!)

This week the children have also been editing and rewriting their final drafts for their myth recount and also looking at villains in myths and how to write a character description. In maths we have finished rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 and solving problems linked to that including word problems. We will be moving onto negative numbers and placing them on number lines.

In science we have been exploring and recapping the different types of teeth and their functions in both animals and humans and we will be moving onto the digestive process and digestive system over the next few weeks. They also wrote some brilliant poems with Mrs Birks on Thursday for the Harvest assembly on Friday.

Well done Nunsmere

Have a lovely weekend
