The children in Nunsmere have had another busy, jam packed week. They have all been working hard and writing their non-chronological reports based on the artist J.M.W Turner, they have also been solving word problems and researching on topic ideas on the mac books. On Thursday, the whole school had a visit from the safari rangers at Chester Zoo and had different workshops. Each workshop was extremely informative and interesting and the children enjoyed every minute.

Nunsmere had a workshop about the 'Rainforest',they explored the rainforest, its habitat and how the rainforests are suffering from the actions of humans . During the workshop they looked at a jaguar skull model, smelt jaguar urine from a jar (not real!) and handled an ivory tusk (real)
The children asked some fantastic questions and all learnt lots of new information which they will transfer to their topic work next week.

Hope everyone has had a lovely longer weekend :)
