The children in Nunsmere have been working hard this week. In R.E we have discussing, drawing and painting their interpretation of 'The Kingdom of heaven' and 'The Kingdom of God'.

In literacy, we have been drafting, editing and writing up their amazing informal letters. These were written as if they were from J.M.W Turner explaining to his daughters that he will be home soon but he has to complete his most realistic and terrifyingly beautiful painting 'The Storm' ( where apparently he tied himself to the mast of a ship to experience what a storm was actually like this was to ensure that his emotions were apparent in his paintings - so some believe)

In maths we have been focusing on problem solving in Topic the focus was recycling.

Next week is STEM week so the focus will be Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths! ( in-between doing grammar and writing!!) I am sure the children will enjoy being scientists and investigating problems.

Have a lovely weekend
