The children in Nunsmere had their CARE sharing assembly on Wednesday, where they talked about the British Value- Individual Liberty (We linked it to how we have individual liberty in class and everyday school life.) The children have also thoroughly enjoyed making their own routines in their P.E dance lessons, they showed to me and they were great. Well Done Nunsmere!

In maths, we have been recapping prior knowledge and investigating fractions of whole amounts, adding and subtracting fractions and turning top heavy fractions into whole numbers. In Literacy, the focus has been inverted commas and speech in grammar and biography planning and drafting in our literacy lessons.

We have also been working on the British Value- 'Individual Liberty', discussing it's meaning, how it links to everyday life and school life. We then incorporated this into what we have been learning about this term. E.g. J.M.W. Turner and his right to individual Liberty as an artist and our individual Liberty when it comes to recycling and saving our planet.

Have a lovely weekend
