What a busy first week back! Although it was incredibly warm in our classroom, the children have worked extremely hard and should be proud of their efforts in their assessments.Well done!

This week has been assessment week in KS2 and the children have worked hard.Their final assessments will continue next week as well as benchmarking. The environmental art work based on J.M.W.Turner, that was designed and created by the children in KS2 is on a display board next to the Art's weekend work. The children's artistic skills are clearly apparent and the work looks great!

The children enjoyed dressing as pirates for the Hedgehogs charity this week and should be proud of the money that they raised.Well done!

On Wednesday, the children received their new 'Homework grid' for this term and a copy can be found on the website. There is also an opportunity for parents/children to comment on this style of homework by filling in the survey on the website. The results will influence how the homework is presented in the future.

Have a lovely weekend
