The last week of the year is nearly over and although it is the last week it has still been very busy!! The children were fantastic in their performance on Tuesday and all should be extremely proud of themselves. They also enjoyed a day at The Walker Gallery in Liverpool on Wednesday, which was brilliant. The children learn a lot about different pieces of art, artists and  art movements. Then we explored the Gallery and drew some of the paintings..

I will really miss teaching this class.......

I would just like to say that it has been an absolute pleasure teaching this class for the past two years they are such a lovely class and I will miss teaching them so much. It has been an amazing journey and when I think back to how they were when they first came to me in Blakemere as Year 3,  to what they are like now; they have all grown up so much and have achieved a tremendous amount both socially and academically! I am extremely proud of them all and they should all be really proud of themselves.

It will be weird next year not seeing all their smiling faces and hearing 'Morning, I'm here Miss Walker', as they walk through the door in the morning! Good Luck next year and I will see for the Art's weekend in March.

Have a lovely summer

Miss Walker
