Nunsmere class had a fantastic day at the Lady Lever Art Gallery on Tuesday! They enjoyed finding out about art work and attending a 'people in portraits' workshop, and even sketched their own self portraits.

As well as attending a trip to the art gallery, we also had an exciting assembly from Steph from Young Carers, on Young Carers Awareness Day. Thank you to all the children who completed chores at home to raise money for Young Carers!

In maths this week we have been learning about fractions of amounts and have even started to add fractions with the same denominator.

In literacy, we have been writing our own narrative stories inspired by our class reader, Gangsta Granny.

We have been continuing with our work on states of matter in science this week, with a focus on the changes in water.

Have a lovely weekend
