We always seem to be busy in Nunsmere class, and this week has been no different!

The highlight of our week was definitely our lego robotics workshop! It was lovely to look around the classroom and see each and every single child completely engaged and enjoying what they were doing. Nick delivered a fantastic junior stem workshop on logo robotics and the children learned how to create algorithms on the tablets to create merry-go rounds using lego! It was absolutely fantastic. The children are looking forward to more STEM activities next week.

In maths this week the children have continued and finished their fractions topic. The children have been focusing on real life problems including money to solve problems involving fractions and decimals.

In our literacy work we have been preparing to write our biography on Picasso, which we will start next week. We have been looking at the structure and the features of a biography, as well as learning everything there is to know about Picasso!

We had a special workshop from NSPCC this week learning about child line and knowing who to talk to to keep ourselves safe.

Have a lovely weekend.
