Nunsmere class have had another busy week.

In maths this week we have been focusing on metric conversions! The children have been converting between mm and cm, cm and m, m and km, g and kg, l and kl and seconds, minutes and hours. What a busy week in maths we've had!

Our writing and topic work has focused on recounting our residential to York, which the children all enjoyed writing about and reliving their favourite parts. The children are now confident in writing a recount; using the first person, past tense and chronological order.

We have assessed our prior knowledge in science this week as we start our topic on electricity. The children already know lots and have lots of ideas of what they want to find out!

In our CARE work, we have read the book 'Tusk Tusk' by David Mckee and discussed what prejudice means and how we can be more inclusive and diverse. The children responded really well to the text and had lots of fantastic discussion points.

Have a lovely long weekend, and see you on Tuesday
