Nunsmere class had a great time making spotty cakes to mark Children in Need. The children melted chocolate, mixed in Rice Crispies, added in Smarties and sprinkles to complete their cakes!

This week Nunsmere were lucky enough to have Richard O'Neill into school to tell the children a wonderful story! Nunsmere's story was about two boys and a bull that had been brought into school. The children absolutely loved it and were laughing throughout the whole story. This was lovely to see!

This week in our topic work for 'Who Inspires Us?' the children have been learning about the amazing Sir Ranulph Fiennes! They were amazed by his many achievements but also by what happened to his fingers! They have created a lovely poster on everything they have learned about him.

In Maths the children have been learning about the 'inverse'. They have been able to use the opposite calculation to help solve missing box questions. This is a tricky topic to understand at first but I'm really impressed with how they approached it.

I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Mr Huddart and Mrs Lloyd :)
