This week Nunsmere have been learning all about early human's food sources and their transition from being hunter-gatherers to farmers and how that has influenced life we know today.

In maths we have moved onto our new topic of 'addition and subtraction' and we have been using the column method to crack mathematical codes! The children all worked so hard to complete this challenge. In literacy we have been writing non-chronological reports about the Stone Age, the children are so knowledgeable on this topic and I have loved reading them all - lots of housepoints have been given out! In science the children have created their own branching keys using scientific characteristics and we have learnt some fun facts about the octopus! We have also been learning all about Harvest Festival ahead of our trip to church for Harvest service next Wednesday.

I hope everyone has a joyful weekend,

Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
