To start the week, Nunsmere enjoyed a virtual workshop with United Utilities on Monday.

Everyone enjoyed learning all about the water cycle and how precious our water supply is. We looked at how United Utilities treat our drinking and waste water - everyone particularly loved the pictures of the huge sewer pipes!

On Thursday, we looked at how we can stay safe online. We talked about three rules to follow when using the internet: Zip It, Block It, Flag It. We also talked about our digital footprint and the importance of what we post online.

Reverend Angela visited Nunsmere for collective worship, for which she spoke about Remembrance Day. She spoke to the children about Saints, and how we all have our own personal Saints. The children then told stories and wrote about who their Saints were - there were lots of fascinating stories about great-grandparents!

This morning, Nunsmere painted their poppy-pebbles! Thank you to everyone for bringing in a stone to paint.

The spellings and homework for this term have been uploaded to Google Classrooms. If you would like anything printed off please let me know.

Next week we will be completing the Year 4 assessments, which will be used to give an understanding of the children's pre-existing knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum. It is also parents evening next week, which will be held over a 10 minute telephone call. If you have not booked a time slot yet, please do so via Eezee Trip. I look forward to speaking with you all next week.

Have a fantastic weekend,

Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
