Nunsmere loved learning all about the digestive system in science!

They loved replicating the stomach with a bag, a biscuit and some orange juice! We then put the contents of the bag into the small/large "intestines" (tights!) and completed the digestive process. In literacy, the children have loved our new story "Leaf" and we have spent this week looking at the different themes throughout the story. The children also used dictionaries and thesauruses to define and improve story language. In maths we have continued our learning on multiplication and division. The children loved their topic work this week, they have been looking at the Iron Age in more detail.

It was lovely to see all the children wearing their odd socks today!

Have a happy and restful weekend,
Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
