What a wonderful week Nunsmere have had!

We have been kept very busy this week with lots of fantastic workshops. The children enjoyed an art workshop with Chris Gilbert for which they learnt handy techniques for drawing cylinders, which they could then turn into objects such as tins and cans. We also loved our dance fitness workshop with Samantha Dene, it was great to see everybody joining in learning the choreography!

Nunsmere also had a storyteller workshop with Richard O'Neill which they all loved - the children's faces were smiling and laughing throughout the session which was so lovely to see! The children came up with their own school rules which they would have if they were headteachers, ranging from pets allowed everyday to uniforms made out of swimming costume material! The uniform would work perfectly with our outdoor swimming pool the children decided we would have! Mrs Campbell and I loved the idea of everyone having motorbikes in school to get around!

Amidst all of the workshop excitement, we have started our new maths topic on fractions and continued our literacy work on our Icelandic story.

Well done to everyone in Nunsmere for completing another successful week of remote learning!

Have a happy and restful weekend,
Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
