It has been well-being week this week, and Nunsmere have enjoyed lots of fun activities!

It is so important, now more than ever, to make sure we are taking care of our mental health. Lots of activities this week have had a focus on this, including a lovely stretch and relaxation session, a drama workshop and a fun Friday activity for which the class had to draw a picture with their eyes closed! On Wednesday, we all wore an item of clothing inside out to remind us that we can't always tell how someone might be feeling on the inside and that we should always treat people with kindness and compassion.

During our LAMADA workshop the children enjoyed moving and stretching their bodies, breathing exercises and pulling facial expressions based on a story! There was a huge smile on everyone's face throughout the session which was absolutely wonderful to see and everyone was eager to engage and get involved!

We have also continued our learning of fractions in maths, which the children have amazed me with. They all work so hard and really want to push themselves by completing the extra challenges - well done everyone! In literacy we have been continuing our work on our story "Arthur and the Golden Rope" by creating prepositional phrases and writing a short narrative based on an illustration from the text.

Once again I would like to pass on my praise, the children continue to work so hard despite current challenges.

Have a happy and restful weekend,
Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
