Nunsmere have had a busy week of remote learning.

Well, it wasn't the week we were expecting, but we had fun nonetheless!

This week in literacy, Nunsmere have used a short animation called The Wishgranter as a focus for our writing projects. The children created their own "Wishgranter's Toolboxes" for which they chose 3 items that every wishgranter would need in their emergency kit! We then used these items to write instructions for how to make a wish, focussing on using imperative verbs.

You can watch The Wishgranter animation here: https://www.literacyshed.com/wishgranter.html

In maths this week we have continued our learning on measurements, looking at adding and subtracting lengths along with working out perimeters.

The children also enjoyed an Italian session with Mr Hunt, during which they looked at some very interesting Italian Easter traditions before creating their own Italian Easter cards!

We have also had our usual brilliant art session with Christ Gilbert and dance fitness session with Samantha Dene.

We ended the week with a bit of Zoom fun!

We look forward to welcoming the children back to their classroom on Monday, hopefully for the last time! Thank you all once again for your continued support throughout remote learning.

Have a happy and restful weekend,

Miss Bate and Mrs Campbell
