Nunsmere Home Learning

A home learning grid will be given out at the start of each half term.

Over the half term you need to have completed each of the tasks and they should be evident in your folders (sometimes the evidence may be powerpoint slides or research, or it may be in the form of photographic evidence in the case of a presentation).

If you have built or made something, your class teacher will take photographs of this to put into your home learning folder.

You need to choose ONE task per week and hand this into school every Wednesday.

The home learning will be recorded in a weekly log to ensure every child has completed their homework on time and that all tasks have been completed throughout the term.

Your child's reading book and reading diary needs to be brought into school every day.

One piece of homework will be collected in each Wednesday and given back the following Wednesday once it has been marked.

Each half term the children will have:

  • 2 pieces of maths
  • 2 pieces of literacy
  • 1 topic/science/RE
  • 1 personal development

Each week the children will also have:

  • Weekly Spellings
  • Weekly Times Tables set
  • Reading to an adult at least 3x per week at home

You can also log in to TT Rockstars and Purple Mash at home.

We are no longer using My Maths.
