Oakmere celebrated Easter.

The week started with Oakmere brainstorming what symbolised Easter: eggs, flowers, lambs, chicks, rabbits, palm branches and the cross.  The children searched the School grounds for new life and talked about what they found.  On Wednesday Reverend Elaine held an Easter Service for the school at St Peter's Church.  It was a special service for us all, a big thank you to Reverend Elaine for the wonderful service and to Mr Hartwell Jones for playing the piano.

Well done to all who took part in the egg competition this year, they were fantastic! The egg rolling competition was great fun too and the children also thoroughly enjoyed the egg hunt outside.

We hope you had a fantastic Bank Holiday in the incredibly perfect sunshine!
