We have had a very fun and busy week!

In Literacy we have been concentrating on nouns and adjectives in our sentences.  This photo shows the children working together on a noun hunt!  The sheet was separated into people, places and things and the children wrote down the nouns they could find around the classroom into those columns. They all worked brilliantly and loved sharing with the rest of the class how many nouns they found.

In Numeracy we have continued with our addition and subtraction work, using number lines and counting resources to help us with our problem solving skills.

We have also been getting ready for our collective worship. Here the children are painting pictures of the community ready to show you next week.  The children are excited to lead two collective worships that day; one for their families and one for the school!  We look forward to seeing you there!

Handmade poppies are displayed in the school entrance by each child in school, to remember all of the people who fought in the wars.

We look forward to another wonderful week together,

Mrs Birks, Mrs Jones, Mr Ashworth and Mrs Dodd.
