At the beginning of term we enjoyed an exciting residential to Beeston Outdoor Education Centre. We found out lots of fun facts about castles and birds of prey and even found a dragon's egg! We become more independent by taking the responsibility to wash and dress ourselves and for some of us it was the first time we spent the night away from home! It was very exciting!

Since we have been back we have been learning more about castles and even made some wonderful observational drawings of different castles. We have used all this information to create information leaflets and posters to persuade others to visit Beeston Centre and Peckforton Castle.

This week we have used our skills in telling the time to solve detective work! After a crime in the school we worked out clues from witness statements to find the culprit who stole the dragon's egg! (Miss Boynton)
