As a Church of England Academy we believe that the ethos of the school must, in all its spiritual, moral and cultural aspects, reflect the teachings of Christianity. We aim to promote a happy, caring and non-threatening environment within which each individual can develop his or her own physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual potential to the full, and at his or her own pace and level. We also aim to foster a caring partnership between home, school and community. We try to achieve this by regular collective worship with Rector Elaine, celebrating key Christian Festivals at church, including Christmas, Harvest and Easter, and through our support of outside charities.

This year our collective worship timetable focuses on weekly themes which promote values. As part of this we will focus on the Fundamental British Values and teach these through both collective worship and classwork within school.
