Pickmere had THE best time in our Lego Computing workshop!

The children learned to use algorithms to make robotic animals move and follow commands. They also learned how to install sensors which is pretty cool.

In Science this week the children were learning to investigate with a range of different materials. They were testing their suitability for certain jobs and noting their key properties.

In Maths this week Pickmere have been working to order and round decimals to 3 places.

In Literacy this week we have started work on our new text 'Lost Happy Endings' by Carol Ann Duffy. We were observing the illustrations carefully and trying to predict what may happen in the story.

Mrs Campbell has delivered another brilliant topic lesson this week on 'Impressionism' art. They learned about how this was different to anything else they have seen before and how important colour choice was.

We are off to the Tate Gallery in Liverpool on Monday, please could the children bring a packed lunch in a back pack. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend!

Mr Huddart, Mrs Campbell and Mr Hunt.
