This week some of the children in Pickmere took part in the 'Music Evening'.

I was incredibly proud of all of the children who took part in this performance, they couldn't have performed any better. On the night, they performed to a full audience of parents and carers. The children played instruments of pianos, keyboards and violins; they even break danced, sang in the choir and even performed a duet! They were all absolutely fantastic and fully deserved their blue certificates!

Also this week Pickmere have delivered a collective worship to the rest of the school. This weeks theme was 'miracles'. The children all had an opportunity to speak and share the parable of 'feeding the 5000' with loaves and fishes.

In maths this week the children have been working hard to multiply and divide decimals by 10, 100 and 1000.

In literacy we have been undertaking research for our reports on famous artists. We have also been looking at the structure of these and the language we should be using.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
