Pickmere had a lovely time welcoming their buddy for a special teddy bears picnic!

I was so impressed with the children in Pickmere, the way they supported the new children coming in and for how they spoke beautifully to all of the parents too. I am very proud of you all. Whilst outside they had lunch together, made biscuit faces, decorated bags, read a story and had play time together.

Also this week the children have observed and taken part in a superb workshop delivered by The Hammond Prep school. The theme of the workshop was all around being safe online and learning how to ignore the trends of social media. It was lovely to see the children having such fun watching the performance and then having a go at performing scenes themselves. Well done Pickmere!

In maths this week we have learning to translate shapes and plot the coordinates that are missing, this is tricky but they worked really well to grasp it. In topic the children have been learning how to plot 4 and 6 figure grid references, this linked in nicely with our maths work.

We have also been working extremely hard on our songs and performance for the Matilda production.

Have a lovely weekend, I hope the sun continues to shine!
