This week has been a huge learning curve for all of us!

As Pickmere have been our first bubble of the new academic year to isolate, we have all had to get to grips with new routines rather quickly. After a few small technical glitches for some, the week has turned out to be a huge success for many.

As always, the children in Pickmere have continued to impress us with their resilience, commitment to learning and understanding of how to use technology. It is not easy being in the classroom one minute and then in isolation the next, but they have certainly made it look easy this week!

I have added a wide range of additional resources to Google Classroom and you are welcome to dip in and out of these as you see appropriate. Children should be able to complete the majority of these tasks unaided, which will hopefully take a little pressure off parents and carers.

If there is any way in which we can support you and your family during this short burst of home learning please do get in contact. Whilst somethings are out of our control, we will be more than happy to help wherever logistically feasible.

We look forward to seeing you all back on our screens next week. Keep smiling, keep chatting to friends and make lots of happy memories with those around you.

Take care,

Miss Wild and Mr Ashworth
