This week Sandymere completed their Art work based on Eileen Agars 'Bride of the Sea'.

The children used collage and surrealism to make their own 'seaside' masterpieces. They experimented with ink, oil pastel, ripped paper and sand paint to create different textures in their artwork.

In numeracy we have continued to look at measures, this week focusing on length. The children solved different problems and learnt how to estimate in centimetres.

In literacy we have begun to write our own stories based on Kes Gray's 'Billy's Bucket. The children have wonderful ideas and have created their very own bucket world.

We are excited to take part in some silly challenges today to celebrate Red Nose Day, There should hopefully be some messy faces by home time!
