Sandymere had a fantastic day today for world book day!

It was lovely to spend the day dressed up, off timetable and enjoying some activities we don’t always have chance to do!

Our theme for world book day was Paddington and the classroom had been transported into Paddington station where there was a lost bear asking us to take care of him! We completed lots of Paddington themed activities this morning; some drama this afternoon and we also enjoyed a shared reading session with Nunsmere. Make sure to check out our twitter feed to catch up with all the amazing things we’ve been doing.

Earlier this week we’ve been busy practising our SATS papers, the SATS are fast approaching now and we’re making sure children are as best prepared as they can be for May.

On Tuesday next week we have a trip for Sandymere class, please make sure that children are in school on time wearing their uniform with a packed lunch. I will confirm on Monday whether the children need wellies or not and will send out an Eezee trip message on Monday.

We hope you have a fantastic weekend and thank you with your support today for world book day, the children have absolutely loved it!
