Today is one of the best days of the year and although it’s been a little different to normal Sandymere have had a fantastic time!

We really enjoyed our Christmas dinner made by Kelly and Jane and have taken part in games, art activities and making a Christingle.

This week we’ve started a new book focused in literacy called Dasher which is a lovely Christmas story with beautiful illustrations. The children are really enjoying reading it and have created some amazing pieces of work based on it.

We’ve taken part in Zoom teaching this week from Mrs Birks, Mrs Dodd and Reverend Angela… very 2020! But the children have really enjoyed it and it’s been great to be able to keep our normal timetable and combine it with a use of technology.

We have filmed our Christmas Nativity this week and Miss Hume will be spending the weekend editing all the footage together and will be sharing it with parents next week. We can’t wait for you to see it, the children have been working so hard!

We hope you have a lovely weekend and we’ll see you next week for our final week of the term!

Miss Hume, Mrs Lloyd, Mrs Dodd and Miss Davision
