We can’t quite believe this is the 6th week of remote learning. The children have been amazing during this time!

The Sandymere team are so proud to how well the children have adapted to remote learning and the enthusiasm they have shown during every Zoom and activity that has been set. We should not underestimate how difficult this time has been for everyone and we should feel proud that we have supported each other through a tricky time.

This week has been full of lots of fun activities. We started the week off writing instructions on how to care for our Bog creatures and ended the week introducing telling the time and making Chinese lanterns to celebrate Chines New Year. We also enjoyed a topic lesson focused on the importance of farming for Cheshire and the United Kingdom. It was great to see the children’s pop-up farms, they were really creative and highlighted the important role farmers play for us all.

The work for the first week back will be on Google Classroom from 6pm on Friday 19th. Anyone who has a pack printed from school will be able to pick packs up on Monday 22nd between 1-3pm. Monday mornings lessons will only require paper & pencils to complete the task.

We hope you have a lovely half term and have a well-deserved rest and family time. The optional activities and reading activities remain on Google Classroom if you wish to access them over the half term.
