Sports Update 15/06/18

With the World Cup kicking off this week in Russia our children have been competing within their Houses to win the Delamere World Cup! Each House adopted a country to represent; Foxes (BRAZIL), Hedgehogs (SPAIN), Squirrels (ARGENTINA) and Owls (ENGLAND).

Sports Update 08/06/18

Throughout the week, we have had a great number of sporting opportunities. On Tuesday a group of our KS2 children who attend our morning Judo club travelled to St Martin's Academy to take part in a  competition. This was a fantastic experience for the children who where able to put the skills they have learnt in club into practice in a competitive environment. It was also great to see a couple of our children pick up the individual awards of Judoka of the Day and the Spirit of Judo Award chosen by Judo Jess!

Sports Update 25/05/18

As we enter the last week before half term we have still been very busy on the PE and Sporting front. Pickmere took part in a mixed doubles tennis competition during a PE lesson.

Sports Update 18/05/18

This week it was our youngest children who took centre stage on the sporting front as a group of very excited Hatchmere children attended the Reception Football Festival at Tarporley High School. After a few practise sessions during PE this week our team where ready for some friendly competition against other schools in the local area. All the children played fantastically well and worked so well as a team with lots of skills on show and some great goals scored too!

Sports Update 11/05/18

Last Saturday myself, Mr Huddart and Mrs Evans and a coach load of parents and children travelled to Wembley Stadium to watch the Women's FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium. This was a great experience and for many this was their first ever football match!! The final score was Chelsea 3 -1 Arsenal.
