A great year of PE and Sport!

Sports Update 13/07/18

During the final week of school sports competitions we have had a very busy and successful one! On Tuesday our swimming team took part in the 8th Annual CSSA Primary Swimming Gala at Christleton High School. Talking part in a variety of races including; backstroke, freestyle and mixed relay our team gave 100% with a couple of our children picking up individual medals (Bronze in Boys Freestyle and Silver in Girls Backstroke).

Sports Update 06/07/18

Although we are approaching the end of the school year there are still plenty of sports events for our children. On Monday we attended the Sandstone Sports Partnership Athletics competition for children in Years 1-4. As well as athletics style events the children also took part in a variety of fun obstacle races such as the egg & spoon, sack race and beanbag balance. The children had a great morning completing against other local schools and a big thanks to Tarvin Primary for inviting us.

Sports Update 29/06/18

This week our KS1 children took part in an Academy Trust Athletics competition at Ellesmere Primary. Each child took part in a range of throwing, jumping and running events with our team finishing with as Silver medalists. This was a fantastic event which the children thoroughly enjoyed and is another example of the excellent Sports Competition programme we have in place amongst the NWAT schools.

Sports Update 22/06/18

This week on a lovely sunny day we held our annual Sports Day. The school field was transformed into a sea of colour with all the children proudly wearing their House T-shirts. After two weeks of inter-house Sports competitions including; World Cup themed events, dodgeball, cricket, handball and hockey the children would now take part in a variety of running and obstacle races to try and win points for their House. Everyone one had a great time and well done to the Owls who won overall!.
