Year 1 and 2 had an amazing World War Experience day yesterday.

They discovered key facts about the war at Chester Military Museum and learnt what it would have been like to be a child in war time sheltering in a Morrison Shelter, hearing an air raid and trying on their gas masks. The children were then evacuated by coach to Stretton Water Mill to try some of the more rural activities that evacuated children would have been involved in from make do and mend, digging for victory to milking the cow. Thanks to all that helped make this wonderful taster day so good!
