As we enter the last week before half term we have still been very busy on the PE and Sporting front. Pickmere took part in a mixed doubles tennis competition during a PE lesson.

As well as playing matches against other children within their class the children also took on the roles of umpire and scorekeepers. Nunsmere took advantage of the beautiful weather to take part in a game of Danish Longball on the field and Hatchmere where the first class to try out our new running track by taking part in a number of relays within their Houses.

On Tuesday we had twelve of our KS1 children attend at Judo competition at St Martin's Academy ran by Jess (Classroom Judo). Jess delivers a very popular morning Judo Club at Delamere on a Wednesday which all these children attend and this for many of them was a first chance to put the skills they have learnt in club into practice in a competitive environment. This was a fantastic event and experience that the children thoroughly enjoyed. Well done to all the KS1 children from both Delamere and St Martin's who gave 100% in each Judo match they took part in.

Have a good half term break.
