Although we are approaching the end of the school year there are still plenty of sports events for our children. On Monday we attended the Sandstone Sports Partnership Athletics competition for children in Years 1-4. As well as athletics style events the children also took part in a variety of fun obstacle races such as the egg & spoon, sack race and beanbag balance. The children had a great morning completing against other local schools and a big thanks to Tarvin Primary for inviting us.

Later in the week our Year 3 swimming team took part in the North West Academies Trust Swimming Gala and did fantastic finishing as runners up. On Thursday our Year 6 team took part in the Sandstone Sports Partnership Rounders competition and played fantastically well in both batting and fielding. Again we narrowly missed out on winning this event finishing as runners up.

Today is the Chester District Athletics competition at West Cheshire Athletics Club...good luck to all our children who are taking part!

Have a good weekend (...and hopefully an England win!).

Mr F.
