It has been a really busy week of school sports competitions this week. First up was the Year 4 Diamond Cricket Festival at Christleton Cricket Club. This was a really fantastic event which the children thoroughly enjoyed. On Thursday we took part in a Girls Football Festival at Chester FootGolf and we had a fantastic turn out as usual at the KS1 Cross Country event at Tarporley High School. We are always really proud of our infants who take part in this long distance race and it is great to see so many of our children attend.

Sports Update 27/04/18

This week we took part in a couple of Girls Football events which was fitting as it was the FA's National Girls Football Week. On Tuesday a group of our Year 4 & 5 girls went to Blacon High School to take part in the Cheshire FA Girls Fun Football Festival. Here the children took part in a variety of games which helped develop their footballing skills such as; dribbling, passing and shooting. The girls also got to experience some friendly competition playing football matches against a number of the schools. Despite the awful wet weather conditions the  girls thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

The second event of the week was the Year 6 Girls Football competition at Tarporley High School. The girls played really well in this event and improved with every game they played.

If your daughter is interested in playing football outside of school please come and speak to me for more information.
