Blakemere made a variety of 3D shapes this week!

Blakemere obviously had the best time being able to swim again this week, it was so lovely to see their happy faces and seeing them coming back to class to tell me how brilliant it was.

In the classroom this week we have been working hard to finish our 500-word stories for the NWA trust writing competition, we have been so proud of the children in their efforts. They have been typing these up onto the computer ready to be sent off.

In maths the children absolutely loved using marshmallows and spaghetti to make their own 3D shapes. They have learned the correct vocabulary (vertices, edges and faces) and have been able to identify the amount in various shapes.

We also really liked our practical science activity where we were solving magnets problems in order to crack a numbered code, this was great fun!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
